Even if it doesn't come off, you are adding stress to the wheel bearing. And we already know how crappy our bearings are.

But hey, it's your car, do as you wish.

So everyone on here that has aftermarket wheels with a lower offset, is in the same boat including you if you have aftermarket wheels. So unless you are rolling stock, you are doing the same thing.

So no pics of a properly installed spacer that has failed or caused the wheel to fall off?

I still have the spacers on my car, and they are holding up fine. Its been at least several thousand miles with them on, and no problems have risen. I would definitely suggest you pick some up! Which set of spacers were you planning on purchasing?

Not everyone, those of us that buy our wheels with the correct offset don't need or want spacers. I could move them out 1/4" but why, I'm more about function rather than todays fugly trends. I see set ups with the wheels tucked in and pushed out a wanta

I've got 20X8.5's all around on my G and after lowering it I have that horrible gap between the tire and fender. I'm wondering if 20mm rear and 15mm front is wide enough? Looks like my front gap is actually bigger than the rear. I want it to look more flush but dont want to rub, etc..

it depends on the offsets of the rims that you put on

The offsets are +42. I ended up going with 20mm rear and 17mm front. I'll post some pics once I get them on.
