I was driving my 2004 G35 and noticed it seemed sluggish in first. I'll come to a stop and step on the gas and it seems super sluggish and slow up to the 2-3k RPM mark then finally get a little power. Once in second it seems pretty normal. I then looked and my AT check light is on. Any one know whats going on or have any advice? Thanks

 

Get the code checked. I'd say no one can help you until we get the code.

 

The Check AT light is an "Oh ****" light and you need to get your car to a mechanic quickly. It usually doesn't come on until there's a major issue with the trans.

Drive it as little as possible until it's looked at.

 

Damn that sucks, so it is probably not just a minor fix?
