Just got my G35 what now?

Just bought an 06 g35. What are some cheap mods? Sorry for not searching. Used to have a TL and now I understand what it is like to be a new to a car. I really enjoy the body style and Vq engine.

lrn2img. haha. need help with that?

umm. cheap?
debadge - $5 via GooGone
k&n drop in - $40ish?
z tube - $60ish
clear corners - $30ish

depends on your definition of "cheap." those were the first things that came off the top of my head - the first things people usually do with their cars.

then you get into a few-bill-mods. i.e. tint - $2--, plenum spacer $2--, springs $2--, etc.

Debadge everything except the Mt Fuji
Clear corners (+ White LEDS)
Z Tube
K&N Drop in
Tint
Springs?
Paint Grill (headlights too?)

depends on budget and what "cheap" means to you

What are you planning on doing to the car first off? anything in mind.

It all really depends on what your budget is for any1 to recommend some good mods for you.

Search and this has been answered a ton of times. How many miles do you have and have you thought about maybe doing basic maintenance before you go around spending money on unneccessary parts. These parts will not prolong the life of your car but cause you to put more stress on your car.

Make sure before you spend a dime on crap.

Differential fluid
Tranny Fluid
Brake pads and Rotors
Brake fluid
Belts
Air filter (K&N filter should be $30 new and not $40. plz look at my thread so you do not get ripped off)
Cabin Filter (FRAM FRESHBREEZE)
German Castrol Syntethic 0w30 oil change and (NAPA, Puralotor, K&N, MOBIL 1 or Wix)
Clutch fluid (not sure if you have manual)
Compression rod bushing
Spark plugs if it is close to 100k or earlier if you wish to
Tires

I've had the car inspected. It has 58K on it so I think that cleaning the TB first would be a good idea. Any other opinions would be great. I enjoy the VQ the way it is but I am looking at induction and exhaust. This is my play car but I don't want any FI or nitrous on it. The car has tinted windows and smoked corner lamps. Cheap to me is under a grand.

I really want to keep it close to stock but want a little more power. I don't want to spend money on things that I will just remove and put in new parts on. This could be the z tube and k&n drop in. Is there much difference between that and a CAI or short intake?

Welcome to DRIVER! Use our SEARCH under subject INTAKES that's how you find answers here or maybe I should have said Opinions....lmao The Z-Tube and drop in is a good place to begin which will change how your G sounds and something we all enjoy.
