Ahhh I'm so sorry. I was in a pretty big rush as I was typing up the OP earlier. This is a friends car. My apologies for the confusion!

As of right now, all I know for sure is that he swapped in a LS2 with the T56 already mated to the engine. He used a Sikky swap kit for the LS2, which IIRC includes the wiring harness and engine mounts among other things. More details are to come. I need to get with him about the specifics of the car before I finalize the video compliation and specs. He is also running with Sikky's LTH specifically made for this swap. A few more additions are fuel rails/SRI (brand names to come) and cams (specs to come.)

I don't want to say too much right now because the details are still vague. When I find out everything for sure I will certainly post it! For the mean time, a start up video!!!

per what I read a few weeks ago, Sikky was very close to finishing the upgrade needed to have the working ac as part of his kit (maybe as a premiun option, but still)

That would be nice, Ive been battling in my head between 2jz, rb26, lsx, and vk56 for a while now. Seems like 2jz is the cheapest and easiest as for a DIY. If I can get an ls swap done under 6k with a mount kit, motor etc that would be the dream.

Ditto. This car and the M3 have the only exhaust notes I like to hear besides a good LSx based motor.

I'm a traitor, and had an LT1, which I think could parallel and even exceed the LSx based motors solely on the quality and pleasantness of sound they produced, not power. Either way, they both sound great. The mod motor fords also sound good, but unfortunately don't move very quick for an 8. Haven't heard a new 5.0, but atleast it's not slow.

Anywho, footballmania, any info on price for swap? I'm am very interested in this but not sure if I want to hack up my G. I know a guy selling a hail damaged G for 3k (04 w/ 78K) that would be a great project car.
