All G35s have shift ***** and boots (factory) whether they're 5AT or 6MT.

The shift **** is the handpiece at the top of the shifter, the boot is the leather/other material 'dressing' that covers the shift rod where it meets the center tunnel/console.

You can mod either to be custom to your taste.

Shift ***** for 5ATs and 6MTs are different and each is designed to retain the functionality of the given tranny. Look here:

The shift ***** for the 5ATs either have a button you push on the top (MOMO) or a few others work when you push down on the ****. Either way they not cheap but make driving that much more fun! Now you know what a shift ****/boot are and how they work....

Ughh please don't. I hate seeing AT's that put different boots and ***** on them to make them look like 6mt's. If you do something more subtle just for overall aesthetics that's cool, but don't do it in a way where you try to make it look like something it isn't.

^i don't think that everyone AT running an aftermarket **** and boot are impersonating MT, it's just another part of the car to customize and make their own. the older "boot-less" interiors, can look pretty dated w/o some kind of updating.

EXACTLY....^....any tard can see we're missing a pedal! The addition of a different ****/boot is just another mod plus being way cool too.
