Stillen Hi-Flo cold air intake

Hi, I did not see any links on this- but I am looking to purchase this and wanted to get some opinions as to if its worth purchasing- do you notice any horsepower gain, or sound in engine, is it difficult to install? Thanks.

I don't think so dude. If anything, I've lost torque with the Stillen/ztube combo.

Has anyone dyno'ed??? The stillen web site say 5 hp @5700rpm for the CAI on the Coupe. It would be interesting to see the torque curve.

I thought the same thing immediately after installing it and resetting the ECU. After driving driving aggressively the next time I was out, then parking it, and driving home the next day, the butt-dyno "felt" a little more grunt. Also tightened down the clamp holding my z-tube to the intake box a little more (had it installed at a local dealership, and it certainly wasn't tight enough) which resulted in the intake "whistle" (I'm assuming this is caused by the "velocity stack" they have inside the filter). Whether or not that's something you want is your decision.

I didn't buy it for the power gains, I just wanted a deeper sound on the up revs.
So I don't think I wasted my cash, I knew what I was signing up for... I mean, it's just an intake, not like I was expecting a 50bhp boost from it.
