it is different if they are just doing blend job or complete repaint. it is also matters if they are doing complete strip the paint or they just paint over.

One of the best shops in Seattle quoted me $500 for a full strip/prep/paint ...so I'd guess that's a pretty reasonable price

seems like a great deal, but in painting you often get what you pay for!

Actually a complete strip means that the shop completely removes all paint and primer from the bumper cover. Then they start from scratch with new primer, base cost and clear coat. In order to get the best job this is the way to go. A little more expensive but the best way to get a new car quality paint job.

We charge $350-$400 to repaint for G35 members. $450 for walk in customers.

OP, that sounds like a pretty good deal you're getting... Just make sure you ask the shop exactly what kind of work they will be doing, and what kind of paint they will use... Since the OEM paint/clear is pretty thin from the factory it would be ok to get it painted over once... By that, I mean they will scuff up the clear with a 1000 grit and go from there... Will there be any repair work done or will it be just a repaint?
