Turbonetics Single Turbo Kit Quick Question

So i've been looking for like an hour and can't find a straight answer. On the Turbonetics single turbo kit do you have to drop the engine to install? I'm looking to go turbo in the very near future but was quoted 1800 to drop the engine to install a custom twin turbo setup (i'm not that serious about it, complete price was over 12000).

Thanks for the help!

kit doesn't require the motor to be dropped for install. Kits tha require the motor to be dropped also require the headers be replaced with turbo manifolds. The turbonetics kit doesn't require the changing of the stock headers so therefore doesn't require the motor to be dropped.

What he said but if you really do some research you would stay away from the turbonetic's kit in the first place.

If you want it to be reliable I recommend a mild rebuild (forged pistons and rods). Z1 sells shortblocks and longblocks ready to go.
