Question for '03 owners... And anyone else!

I know this may not be the best place to post this, I've posted it where it should be posted, but I figured more people probably read these forums than the "buying, leasing and selling" ones.

ok, so the deal is that I may be buying a ('03 RedAT with 49k on it) here in the next week or so, but I'm wondering if there is anything that comes along with age? Any problems I should be concerned with when getting the car at 8 years? Like engine problems or any type of wear that would occur over that 8 years, other than normal? Any help would great guys, thanks!

I'll answer it. I just purchased an 03 with 87k on it about 2 months ago. After having my car there are a few things wrong with it,

A) My passanger door lock doesn't work anymore. Have to do it manually
B) My cd player doesn't work. Just says CD error. The headunit itself still works
C) I have a bumload of rattles.

All stuff I expect for an 8 year old car

Stuff you should look for though that are common is ripped leather, rear axle click, automatic locks and windows tend to go out, a/c controls/head unit.

Overall I find for an 8 year old car with that many miles on it(mine) it has held up really well.

You will love your car.

I recently purchased an 03 and found the things that needed attention were the belts, transmission fluid and air cabin filter.
