molding a lip spoiler to the trunk

Anyone attempted molding a lip spoiler to the coupe trunk? if so what spoiler did you use? I know they are some options from strafe but I want to keep my oem trunk. I would want to go for the strafe v1 look but I don't want to spend a fortune. anyone ever attempted fabricating a spoiler?

this is what I want but molded

I believe it's Strafe that makes an add on to be molded to the OEM trunk as well. Hasn't been out all that long.

with all the money spent on buying the spoiler, molding products, time, paint; it might not come out the way id like....it might be better to buy a strafe trunk

thats not a strafe spoiler.. thats a gialla spoiler, which is what the stafe trunk is based off. the strafe spoiler looks more like something off a bmw...

OP, Strafe sells the trunk but they also sell just the spoiler piece for molding or what have you. If you want to mold a spoiler your gonna need a lot of bondo, prep work, sanding, buffing, paint all in all if you don't or have ever done this it be best to leave it up to the pros

+1 on the strafe trunk. It's like less then $500 shipped for the CF one now I think. By the time you do all the work on a molded lip you're going to be in it for the same price as a shipped CF Strafe trunk which technically doesn't need to be painted according to your preference.

If you were in NorCal I would tell you to go to TNT, they took my stock trunk and welded metal piece. I think is better than the aftermarket one, because it is your OEM trunk with OEM fitment and you can choose how far out and the angle of the lip. Since you don't have that option I would mold the lip to your OEM trunk because I have noticed alot of after market trunks with fitment issue. Here is a pic of how my trunk came out.
