it's been over a year, so here's some updated pics

I can't remember when's the last time I posted general pics, so here's a few of some mods. Car's still work in progress, but most of my plans now involve engine work.

Here's a thread to my new rear brakes:

https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-tires/38428-upgraded-5at-rear-brakes-finally-not-56k-friendly.html

Here's my DIY polishing on a crawford plenum. I'm waiting on an order for professional grade polishing material, so it should have a mirror shine in the future.

There's also a 5 minute mod of the brake fluid cover.

Nothing new here, just the cleared amber on the headlight and X5 projectors. I can't believe that it's been over a year since I did this mod.

My rear brakes finally match my front brakes. My car's a 5AT, so pretty much all the brake components have been changed now.

how do you keep your engine compartment so clean? do you wax it?

Also, I noticed the upper right corner, where the clutch and brake fluid meters are, is covered up. I have a '04 but mine didn't come with a cover. Did I miss something?

daniel, the front brakes were about $1100. It's just Red 4 piston Brembos that I got off ebay with 1 piece rotors (cheap) and stoptech SS lines.

lucino, that's the japanese G35 (skyline) battery cover, you can get it from grubbs or strictlyz. And yes, I do wax the engine compartment, along with using plenty of rubber conditioner. People thought that I was nuts for using a clay bar and Zainoing the engine compartment of my Acura Legend.
