Remote stopped working , replaced the battery(still nothing) bought a new remote (still nothing) so I figure it's the module behind the glove box

Did you get the new remote programmed for you car?

Try cleaning the contacts on the old one. Use an eraser and scrub the exposed copper where the button hit it on the PCB. Check all your fuses.

He needs the control unit. Not another key fob bc he already has one. Not sure how much they are but try a junk yard if you know where it is and how to properly take it out

Yes but is rather not have to mess with the wiring and having to get window modules to control them

HI... I just came from the dealer... they want to charge me $550 to replace the keyless entry control module. I was thinking there was no way it could cost this much.

So I did some research and I found where to buy the part for wayyyyy cheaper but I have no idea how to replace it. I figured that I better figure out how to do that before I buy the part.

How did you change yours? My car is a 2004 G35 4-door.
Thanks!!!
