Arrow Help! tire pressure on my 19" rays!

Hi,

I was originally using 18" oem rims and have just recently switched over to oem 19" rays. The problem is that my "Low Tire Pressure" warning light has come on. I have checked all the tire pressures they are all around 33 psi which is basically what they should be. I dont know why the warning light is on or how to get rid of it! let me know what you guys think! Thanks

You gotta transfer the sensors from your 18s to your 19s, they are ecu specific. Also remember to put them on the same wheel, ie the one from your front driver 18, but on the front driver 19.

You need to reset/re-calibrate the TPMS sensors on the 19's. I had this issue, took it to the dealership and they reset it. Works fine now.

Just need to "sync" them to the car. I don't know a DIY for this and seems to be a dealer only process. Besides the annoying light you are fine.

Yep... Manual says 35. I run 40 in the rears myself. Also, after the light comes on it doesn't go off immediately.. you have to drive about a block before it notices that everything is ok.

^interesting. sometimes people put more in the front to compensate for the front being heavier

You TPS are set up for your ECU, all you need do is have them installed in those new Rays. I've had mine in several set of wheels and they work fine once installed.

Your manual/door calls for 35 psi, I run 37 psi and my tires wear even. I tried 40 and it felt terrible, amazing 3 lbs will change how your G feels/rides!
Good Luck! Gary
