I had a purchase (front bumper... keep in mind, a HUGE box) with Strafe a while back and they sent the wrong product. It was a simple mistake, but after contacting them, being a rational human being, they had no problem, sending out the correct piece and sending the shipping company out to pick up the incorrect one (after the correct one arrived and was verified). They matched another company's price and had to ship a piece twice AND pick up one... all out of their pocket. Never had a cross word, just took a little longer to get what I ordered. No big deal.
They went above and beyond to fix an error and I applaud them for that.
Are they the best vendor on the market for that? I can't answer that, but they were VERY accommodating.

I can imagine if I called them up first thing, raising hell and calling them names, that they would not have been so understanding and helpful. Heck, I wouldn't expect that at all! I would expect exactly what OP is going through.

GL, OP on getting your refund/parts. Hope it works out..

Well Nuge I guess you managed to warn the haters and give this afternoon Strafe hater dosage.

We in our threads post to read our disclaimers. Sometimes I even post it in a post as a reminder..

I worked with you even on my vacation.

We have had good deals and bad. Dustin has taken care of quit a few customers with more serious issues than " oh I found the wheels used and want to cancel". Not good enough a reason there buddy.

There have been quite a few customers that have got their entire money back. Sometimes that refund was slow but they got it..

I don't like when a deal goes bad or a customer isn't happy. I does bother me. We do try to make things right. Dustin tries and tries to make things right. When it gets to me then some one has to make the hard choice what to do. Most of the time when I see Dustin has exhausted all means then it doesn't go well..

Sorry you feel you had to bash Us and make this thread...
You Lied to me, tried to cheat me and almost had me stuck with wheels. We buy the parts and sell them to you as you order. ho do you think eats the loss when we can't return a item? Strafe............now anyone want to buy a authentic chargespeed trunk we got stiffed with?

Our fine print is not really that fine. we actually made it the right size that Our Bank advised us to do. This is because of charge backs people try to do.

Plain and simple we have. this in PLACE

If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 35% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items wanting to be return MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. No items will be returnable after 30 days. All products shipped from the Strafe Automotive warehouse are shipped via Fedex or Freight and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. Fedex, UPS, and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Strafe Automotive or manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 35% restocking fee. These fees will be charged to your account on file.

I already admitted fault. after going through PMs when I apologized to you guys I know i was a complete fool. i even wrote that in one of the emails/PMs. you guys didn't even respond to my apology email. You say you are unhappy but you didn't even care to resume my order or reply for that matter. even after taking the pride to admit fault for being the douche i was. i woulda been happy if you just resumed my order and this all woulda been dropped. whether this thread is useless or not. whether you can defend your self or not. i don't care. I accepted the loss. it's just a warning. theres smartasses on here that think they're know it alls. whether its one or a few that took this as a lesson. i don't care. i have time to waste today.

it's not even really considered bashing. i did state "buyers be warned before purchasing from these guys.

Read their policy before buying anything from them"

it's a formal invitation for people to read the disclaimers before purchasing from you guys. i didn't say anything about NOT purchasing from you. Hey! i'm on your side idiot!. I just feel like i was stiffed. customers unhappy. customer sent tons of email over a WEEKEND cause you guys are out of office.. cause i was pissed. I apologized. you're unhappy. i'm unhappy. apologized to work it out. no reply. I'm a douche bag. you guys are douche bags.

I love Strafe ( no homo)

But just like anyone else. You have to give respect to get respect.

Strafe sent me the wrong hood.. didn't realize it till it was all done (I was deployed when it arrived ) I simply just told them nicely that they made a mistake no big deal, we all make them and they said they would compensate for the mistake.

But.. lesson learned for all of us

how in the world am i even cheating this guy? youre comparing apples to oranges. whats the market on buying a chargespeed trunk? and whats the market on varrstoens wheels that are selling like hot cakes? I'm a liar cause i said i found different wheels. whats it matter to you what my reason for cancelling is. you didn't even have the product! you don't make sense there guy.

the reason for canceling shouldn't even matter to you. the wheels weren't even in stock. so what cost are you eating? dinner from my cancellation fee? the cost of ordering them when you were already ordering them to stock?

people that posted stated we make mistakes.. but we have to go back and forth to discuss about a refund they eventually got.
