After 8 years, my G finally reached 60000km. Haha yes, I don't drive much.

So my question is what needs to be changed and what's not?

I looked at the Service and Maintenance Guide. Here are the things I think I need to do.

1. Flush and Replace ATF (is replace sufficient? Or I need to flush?, I did notice the shifting is a tad slower than before)

2. Replace Differential Oil (do I really need to?? )

3. Replace Climate Controlled seat filter (what is that??)

4. Flush and Replace coolant (yup, I gonna do that)

5. Replace In-cabin microfilter (Is that the one hiding behind the glove compartment?)

6. Replace Radiator Cap (do I really need to?? )

7. Replace Engine drive belts (do I need to do that @ 60000km? )

Thanks guys

Don't flush the transmission, just drain it and fill it up with the J matic oil from infiniti oil only. The cabin filter should be changed every 12 months its next behind the glove box which you have to take apart to reach to it, driver belts only need to be changed if they are warned out and squeak.

Hi nyc,

Thank you very much for your resourceful tips.

So what exactly is the Climate Controlled seat filter? I never heard of it b4.

Thanks,

Oh, btw, you said don't flush the transmission. Is it because flushing will damage the transmission?

Thanks,

The 60Km service is identical to the 30Km, replace all fluids and filters along with checking your belts/brakes/suspension. I hope you're not going to Infiniti for service, Nissan is 30% cheaper in my area and I know for sure the mechanics are far superior.

Where I live I only have a Nissan/Infiniti dealership, they are one and the same. I wonder if I could just ask for Nissan pricing? *laughs* They would probably do something nasty to my car...

How bout a qualified independent mechanic, changing fluids isn't rocket science. You just need to use Nissan trans fluid and I uggest using quality synthetic in the differential....Red Line or AMSOIL.

J is no longer manufactured and old oil, Matic S supersedes J
