Clutch Slave Cylinder Bleed Screw

Does anyone know the thread size (diameter and legth) for the bleed screw on the clutch slave cylinder? I would like to replace it with a speed bleeder and would like to have it in hand before I start the job, but no one lists the size of it on their sites.

Alternatively, I am thinking of getting a Motive Power Bleeder for the brakes and just using it on the clutch line as well. The only problem is I do not think they make an adater for the clutch resevior and there is not much room for clamp on a home made cap for the bleeder.

Any thoughts?

OT: Where exactly is the bleed screw located? I would like to replace the fluid and I want to do it right.

Don't want to siphon it out like everyone else here is doing.

Poke your head underneath the passenger side and look at the transmission. The bleeder is on the slave cylinder.

I'm guessing we have to remove the damn plastic undercover with over 15 or so bolts.

Time to buy some fluid. I'm sticking with oem.

You should not have to take off that cover. I was snapping these pics when I was car shopping and had full access to it. You should be able to bleed clutch, change tranny fluid and diff fluid without having to touch the plastic undercover. Just get 4 bottles of Nissan MTF fluid, 2 bottles of Dot 4 brake fluid and 2 bottles of 75w90 Mobil 1 diff fluid.

Am I missing something or is everything mirrored here? The slave cylinder is on the driver's side on my car. That would make more sense anyhow since that is the side the pedal and master cylinder is on.

ummmm....not sure since it has been a while since I have peeked under there. Mine is a 2005 Sedan and has CD009 tranny. I was pretty sure it was under passenger side but my vehicle is at the dealer and I have a AUTO LOANER.
