How many miles does your car have? I had brake noise at around 12k miles and had the rear pads replaced. The fronts just got replaced at 28k miles yesterday, and they were squeaking/grinding like crazy. They had about 2mm left on them. Now all is quiet.

I've gotten them changed twice in the past 5k miles on my 04, and well they still sqeak a little bit at times. I'm seriously thinkin about putting some better pads in my self, maybe those Greenstuff pads or Hawk, they seeem to be a popular brake pad for the G.

I had 17000 before I went in and they fixed my fronts--they said my rears were fine, but now, it's still squeaking (only been a couple weeks)... and it still seems as annoying... I'm going to have to take it back in

hey all.. I work at infiniti and we warranty pads on 03 g's without brembo's for 3 yr/30k miles. Nissan messed up and used ****ty pads on the 03's so infiniti will only warranty 03 g's without brembo's. that could be your brake squealing noise.

My breaks have this grinding sound when i'm realeasing the breaks a bit, and then when i'm getting close to being at a complete stop, i hear the high pitched. does this mean i could take it into the dealership to get the pads changed? and is there a certain number of times the dealership will change the pads in the three years, then reject any further replacement?

most of the time its not the brake pads, its the brake dust witch bilds up in the brake assembely all you have to do is call your dealer and recuest your brakes cleaned. i have donte it myself and they can do it while you wait.

04's are not under warranty. only 03's

and you can bring in you car as many times as you want upto 3 yrs and 35k miles but there must be something wrong for the pads to be replaced. you can bring in your car after 2k miles and say you want new brake pads.
