Angry Rumbling noise from front wheels

Hey everyone,

I hope someone can help me with this issue I'm having. When ever i start driving I get a rumbling noise from the front tires. At first I thought is was just the tires on since I have BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW Tires all around the car and was told of the really bad road noise. I recently removed my aftermarket wheels off my car and put the stock tires back on. The road noise has gona away yet I get this rumbling noise that I can't figure out what it is. When it rumbles it comes and goes and comes and goes. If anyone can help me out it would be great...

Thanks

is it related to speed? like the pitch changes as your speed goes up or down? and can you tell if it is coming from one side more than the other?

Yes the pitch does change as I speed up and down. The sound mostly now comes from the front driver side and at times the passenger side. Any thoughts?

If it's only for a brief second when you start driving, it could be your ABS system doing it's test.

When you say it comes and goes, do you mean that sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not, or do you mean it's like a pulsating sound?

Is the noise you're hearing louder at slower speeds like from 35 MPH and below? If so that what we refer to as tire roar and the insides of your tires should be worn considerably. Bearings, you can jack your G up see if the tire/wheel moves back and forth. To nail this down go to an independent brake/alignment shop and have them check it out....note I didn't say dealership!!

First thing would be to check your tires and alignment.
