I got my 06 DG Coupe with 21k miles on her for 20,700 out the door in Feb 2010... Shop around. Mine came from a small car dealer who only has about 13 cars on his lot at a time, NICE cars usually too but low overhead.

Good find, but remember that the values and asking prices for used *** cars has been trending upward for quite some time now.

If you have the time to shop around, OP, do that. Otherwise, if you feel like this is a good car and have checked it out, go ahead and roll with it. The most important thing is to feel like you are happy with your purchase.

For what its worth i bought a 06 6mt fully loaded 37k miles from an old dude with 6 cars for 18,5. Excellent condition.

Be patient and shop around.

Believe it or not.. but carmax can't be "cracked." Their line of thinking is if they allow one customer to haggle... then all customers would too. Ever googled anyone who successfully haggled with carmax? Nope.

About the only thing you MIGHT be able to haggle about is the $149 processing fee.... which is peanuts anyway compared to the overall transaction.

I think used cars in general have gone up in price over the last year or two. It baffles me when I see a 2 year old 370z with 37k miles on it going just under what it was new. My friend said if you are shopping one to two year old cars, you might as well be shopping new car prices at the same time.
