OEM Spray Paint!!!! Must Read!!!

I have an '06 IP Coupe... Previous owner removed the factory front license plate holder and it was missing the tow hook cover...

I went to automotivetouchup.com and bought the paint to do it myself, cost was $50 shipped for the base, pearl and clear... Scuffed the cover I bought for $15 shipped and sprayed it! Looks OEM!!! OMG! Lots of thumbs up to these people!

I found this site on here but haven't seen a thread dedicated to it..

I have a spot in my rear quarter panel I'm going to fix and paint as well... I'll post pix of the tow hook cover and the repair I do tomorrow when there's sun out for all to see!

I am thoroughly satisfied to say the least! Saved me lots of time and money!!!

Wow. This could end up saving me lots of money too :O I have some nasty scratches... and some small blobs of missing paint from when I removed my side moldings. A little hesitant for now, but thanks for the heads up!

How is the clearcoat? I'm assuming lots of orange peel?

I have a spot in my front bumper where a car in front of my ran over something in the interstate and I hit it... Scuffed my front bumper... Gonna fix that too!

This is definitely an alternative to paying a paint guy to spray/fix damage to your car...

The paint is wetsandable... I'm sure there will be some orange peel but it all depends on prep and spray technique... Orange peel is almost inevitable but nothing wetsanding can't fix...

On something as small as a tow hook cover, orange peel won't be seen... I'll get a better pic in the sun tomorrow...
