In terms of the 03+ G's, 03-07 are considered 1st gen and G37's are considered 2nd gen coupes. The 06+ are facelifted however so I guess to some they can be considered gen 1.5.

^^^Confused now???
The post prior to magic5g's, the wiki article, it says the 03-07 are considered 3rd generation. All this confusion. That's why I posted this thread in the first place to get this clarified.

depends on your definition of G Coupe....do you mean G35? or the G series. that's where you are getting confused.

there are 3 "generations" of the G35. 03-04. 05. 06+ (i believe) that's considering facelifts and motor changes as "generations."

the wiki article counts models as generations....

From what I understand the wiki articles says that out of the entire G series the G35 is the 3rd generation. But out of the G35 series, both the '06 and '07 are considered 3rd generation swell is what you're saying correct?

Correct. 03/4 has orig interior. 05 got the new interior, but old lights, rev up motor. 06/7 kept the new interior, got different head and tail lights.

If talking about only G35 coupes, better to use the term "revision" instead of generation imo... less confusion.

1st gen: G20
2nd gen: G20
3rd gen: G35 (Coupes rev1: 2003-04, rev2: 2005, rev3: 2006-07)
4th gen: G37

Since the G35 is just a rebadged Skyline it would be 11th gen.
