Anyone but myself have a problem with the look and quality of the felt covered "shelf" in the real center consol? Looks cheap for the compared all over quality of the rest of the car. Looks like an after thought. Anything being done "after market" by dealer or others to deal with this eyesore?

 

Are you talking about the rectangle cover that goes between the seats and covers the first aid kit?

I think you could make something out of microfiber, suede, leather, or vinyl pretty easily if you wanted to. Just get a thin piece of plastic or cardpaper and cover w/ material
