Don't mod if you can't afford it in terms of your income. Everyone has credit cards, hell I have about 40 grand worth of credit limit but I resisted the urge to mod for 2 years now because I didn't wanna drain myself in unnecessary debt. Buy only what you can afford out of your paychecks. I finally got a promotion, so my G will finally be getting pimped.

Any mods I do I will be paying cash. I also feel the same as you I don't want unnecessary debt. I am not in a rush to knock out all my mods at once, so I will be taking it slow.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

^^Money aside that's a great mod plan. If you were to do everything at once, you'd be ecstatic for about a month and then you'd be really sad because there would be nothing new and exciting to look forward to relating to your car. My ride has been in the process of transforming for 2 1/2 years and I'm still not done.
Don't know if I ever will be though.
