my buddy just put one on his z. before i could consistently pull half a car but now hes right with me the whole time. from what ive seen they are worth it for acceleration alone. i plan to pick up a set!

Pulleys alone will not yield gains like that.....Originally Posted by 04OB6mt

I don't know how the AMS pulleys differ from UR set, but I had the UR under-drive set on for a little while and didn't feel any difference. Did a before and after dyno run on them and the gains were zero. I doubt removing a pound or two of rotational mass from an engine will yield noticeable benefits. Maybe my engine did rev slightly quicker but it was something I was unable to notice.Originally Posted by g35915

i also agree you wouldnt notice a major difference in gains, but in theory it must have some effect because you are reducing rotational mass, its simple physics. There are about 12 other mods id do before it but its not a bad idea. Maybe pick up a used one on the forum i see them go for $100 all time.
