Seriously OP, PLEASE quit asking questions you can find the answer to by just reading through some older threads that address your issues. May I ask how old you are? I'm not trying to bash, just understand why you haven't figured out how the forum should work.

German Castrol only, Mother F%$&er!
nice... but mobil 1 is fine as long as you buy the right one. on the back of the bottle (in blue) theres a whole bunch of letters and numbers, the oil that is good for our cars should say ILSAC GF-4 most mobil 1 is GF-5 (stay away from that)

Great link- thanks! I've done a UOA before, but on a different car, so back to researching again.

And we can't close this thread. Dudes with no lives will have nothing else to do

If you buy GF 4 oil your buying older oil, GF 5 is the new standard that replaced GF4

If you can choose get GF5 oil as it past more stringent tests. Any quality oil should be GF5 certified already

Auto Zone had it for around 9$ a qt. I used a WIX filter as well.

Fram filters, seriously?....^....If you're going to spend $$ on quality synthetic you may as well opt for the same quality in a filter like K&N or WIX!
