Springs, 19" wheel package...

Im new here obviously, but i bought a 2005 lakeshore slate g coupe 6mt about 5 months ago that came with the 19" wheel package and upgraded suspension. Im looking for some lowering springs just to rid the wheel gap and the only comparable springs to stock that i found are the RSR TI 2000 springs for the 350z. Spring rates are a bit higher than stock in the front and a little lower in the rear, is there any other options besides coil-overs, or are the RSR's my only choice to get close to stock spring rates?

Hi and welcome to Driver.

I currently have SWIFT Sport Springs on my ride with the "Springmount" Mod done to her as well. Virtually no wheel gap whatsoever. Mine came with the rims but I believe you can nap some on eBay from $250-$320. Possibly even lower here at the Marketplace. It lowered the fronts about 1" and the backs close to .06. Add in the Springmount Mod and the back was close to 1.5 I believe. A nice drop overall for a DD. Would love to get coilovers but this will suffice right now. Good luck!!!!

Don't know why I can't seem to get these pics to resize automatically but click on it to see the full-sized image.

Hey thanks for the reply,

Im wondering what the spring rates are though since with the 19" package the spring rates were quite a bit higher than those without this package, I feel like id be downgrading going with a softer spring made for a regular G and i really like the handling as is.

If you stick with 350z setups add about .5" to the advertised drop and most will keep you at or close to stock spring rates check the suspension forum for an extensive list of detailed options

Nice set up messinex...by the way what helped you decide to go with the swift springs?

I think the swift spring will be the best springs as long as you get the linear type not the progressive in my opinion...but most likely won't find them to cheap good luck OP...

I purchased my WORK Meister's from Mark @ Ravspec. At the time, he was throwing in free SWIFT springs with every order. At first, I wanted the drop a little more so I did the "Springmount" Mod to lower the rear another inch or so. Thanks for the props on the set-up.

@messinex- you got a hell of a deal then!!!

Im getting swept up in the swift marketing and I can't find a bad review anywhere so my choice for the OP... 350z swift linear springs will give you what your looking for...
