Ive done BC stage 2 and stage 3 cams. If you stick with cam swap only valve clearance should not be an issue, still needs to be checked. If you change valves than most likely will need to change valve buckets to get proper clearances.

I changed valves/springs with my build using BC stage 3 cams and needed to adjust clearances. I did cam swap with BC stage 2 on CUX350z engine and clearances were good.

The BC stage2 cam swap on CUX350Z was done same time built engine and TT install. I did the BC stage 3 cam install with new full built engine, upgraded supercharger and exhaust. Either case could not just isolate camshaft performance gain.

You should see about 20 RWHP gain NA, and double that FI. Its all based on supporting mods. The camshafts will work better with High Flow exhaust and intake. Long Tube headers will provide better gains than short tube headers. Use a Motordyne spacer or Cosworth intake.

I'm sure thier will be others to chime in on thier preferences for INT/EXH. This should give you a starting point.

Remember the more air/fuel engine can effectively combust on every stroke the more power engine makes. Using upgraded camshafts without improvements in INT/EXH will only provide minimal gains.

I did my bc2 cams on my greedy stock block and it really woke up the midrange to top end. I am making more power with less boost now. Also it's not hard, if you can diy then it makes it even better.

Its recommended to get a tune up, unless you have a means of monitoring A/F because it will definately be affected by cams/headers.

I ordered my BC camshafts from Injected Performance and paid less for new ones than what I've seen used ones sell for on forum.
