my friend that works for Nissan of America said that the drivers and mechanics for the Xanavi/Nismo JGTC 350Z were at Nissan Headquarters with their cars. he said the cars were off the hook and sounded crazy when they fired them up. there was 1 skyline(g35) and 2 350z's all hooked up. they were restricted from taking pics so sorry i couldnt post any. i'm so psyched i can't wait! sorry, just had to share this "inside news".

 

There is the HKS D1 Silvia (***'s car) and Xanavi Nismo GT-R over at Super Autobac at Stanton. I gawked at those two for an hour and half last weekend. SWEEEEEEET!

 

Can't wait until this weekend. Gonna be in Fontana and enjoying the races and the drifters...

Anyone interested in seeing the JGTC cars up close the day before the event might want to consider coming out to the track event some of us G owners will be racing in Friday.

We'll be there at 7am until about 4pm.

I seriously conisidered flying out there for it but used all my vaca on vegas earlier in the year.

I still hope that it will be on TV at some point. I think it would be a big mistake for them not to show it.

yea, it should be on speedvision but i'm not sure if they are showing it live....look it up on jgtcusa.net or on the speedvision website, they should have a list of programming there.

 

I looked all over. The JGTC site, Speedvision site, Even the Spike TV site. I couldn't find anything. Doesn't make sence to me. You would think that they would try to get TV coverage if they were going to try to get this thing going in the state. The race sounds cool as hell. 2 Classes at he same time each car having two drivers that must rotate and all the other rules. Sounds cool. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

It will be on Speed sooner or later - without a doubt - this is quite an event and a market that they really should be trying to push...
