hey i recently just bought my first g. A 2006 g35 coupe 6 speed! love the car. Great power and one of the best looking cars out there. ive got some question though...:

1. when i begin to accelerate, i hear a wine. almost like a supercharger wind (not saying my car is supercharged.. ). What could this be? or is it just the sound of the rev up motor?
2. the only upgrade i have right now is CAI. whats the best bolt on i can buy for under $1000 (just spent all my money on my car..)
3.sorry to sound like a big noob, but im new to this G game...whats a plenum? haha

Welcome 2 the forums and congrats on ur purchase, most likely the whinning ur hearing is ur intake , and there are a ton of mods under a grand, best 1's - Plenum spacers $180-$250, hfc or test pipes anywhere from 100 to 800 , a proper tune, and I'm 2 lazy to think any further , others will chime in
