Insurance question: Pics inside

So I was driving last weekend and a drunk driver decided to hit another car and then swerve into me. Luckily I saw her out of the corner of my eye and got out of the way, but in the process I slammed into the curb of the median. Then the lady took off and I followed her to her house...long story short cops came, no one injured, I have all her insurance info, other driver involved in crash has her info too. I was wondering if I should also try to get some money for the damage done to my wheel, I've already got my wheels realigned so her insurance is definitely paying for that. heres the damage

I would say yes, if the damage was a result of her then there should be no reason not to try to get it fixed/replaced

Hardly noticeable, but maybe you can get a set of work wheels out of it.

I had a person hit my car while it was parked, didn't get new rims (from their insurance) instead they sent the damaged rim to a shop that repaired it and it looked new. If its cheaper to replace the insurance will most likely get new rims for you if its cheaper to repair (and is repairable) they will just repair it.

+1 on this and they most likely wont replace all 4 wheels if only one or two got damaged.

two new rims oem of course, and two brand new tires...then you want an alignment after the new wheels and tires are on...dont settle for anything less!!! POWER TO THE G!!!

You wanna file a claim for curb rash? Why dont you talk to the lady and see if shes willing to pay to fix your rim? And they are just OEM18's.
If you had VOLKS or WORKS might be a different story..

I say yes as well. It was not your fault and you should get everything fixed.

definitely try to get some kind of compensation. drunk idiots shouldn't be driving in the first place. i got hit by a drunk driver, totaled my car and landed me in the hospital. they had to staple my scalp shut.

She drove drunk. ZERO sympathy for her. Get money from her for the damage.
