Angry My G was broken into last night

so my G was broken into last night, I parked my car in our apartment parking lot. Some ***** broke in my G and took nothing but a little bag which was in the back seat. They broke my driver side window and reached inside.
Now I gotta fix the window and all that out of pocket. I left my G at the insurance collision shop for the inspection. If the insurance does not want to waive the fees I will have to fix it out of pocket.
What do you guys advise me? Tell me something to do bout it. where to take my car to get it fixed? and I need an alarm system. I'm in pain.

Wow, LA huh...Sorry to hear about this...About 18 months ago, I had my Corolla parked outside my parents house around the LA area and someone broke the rear passenger side window and grabbed some personal stuff out of the car. I too tried to file with the insurance, but it was below my deductable so I had to pay out of pocket. It was no more than 200 to get it fixed. I would just try shop around and try to get that window fixed as soon as you can. Alarm wouldn't be a bad idea as well. GL....

That sucks, if you were in Arizona you could of gotten the window fixed by insurance (Arizonia requires policies that cover windows including theft/breakin, which is still cheaper then what I paid in Iowa for insurance)

My stock one works fine, I heard it when some dumb *** drove into the side of my car while it was parked. Although I do know a guy who rigged a few hidden cameras in his car that record if the alarm goes off, not sure how he did it though, it works though cause his car got broken into and he had it all on tape.

Since you cannot secure your coupe the best alternative is to get a quality alarm so you won't have to go thru this again. And never leave anything visible inside your ride, not even sunglasses!

If you haven't gotten it fixed yet you can take it to R&J. They do awesome work for cheap price. They work at night so it would be better for you if you have work during the day.

I got it fixed at an auto glass shop with a cheap price they did a good job. Thanks yall anyway. Stock alarm only works when they unlocked the door, it didnt go off because they just broke the window.
Yea it was my fault I left a bag in the bag seat. Do yall just have stock alarm or somethin like viper?

Sorry to hear about this..

It's good that you didn't have any valuables in your car and you don't have to worry about replacing that stuff. The only thing worth any money in my car is my custom titanium shift ****, but people normally don't think of stealing shift ***** haha.
