Thinking about getting a G, please help...

Hey All,

This forum is great, lots of valuable information. I'm thinking about picking up a G and just wanted some input from you experts who already have one.

Up here in Toronto they are clearing out the 04 M6 for $4100 off (msrp $47,700) with a 36 month lease at 2.9%.

My question to you guys is what should I be paying for this car? What is invoice cost of the car? Can I try to knock off more money?

Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Since they must get rid of em to make room and with that being an inflated price in the first place...especially for an 04...i say either knock off more or don't buy it...to be honest with you....47K with 4,100 knocked off is the MSRP of a fully loaded 05 MT Coupe... www.carsdirect.com

But I do relaize that some places have only one infiniti dealer and in which case you might not have much of a choice.

Keep in mind that he is located in Toronto and their exchange rate is not the same as ares. Meaning his 47k is not 47k us probably more like 35 or 36US

Yeah the exchange rate does play a key role mind you.

The $4100 discount was given to me over the phone without even asking for it. I called around to 7 or 8 dealers within the Toronto area and the discount was anywhere from $3800 to $4100.

Does anyone knwow the invoice cost is for this car? The more I know the more I will be prepared to haggle on Monday.

Also the lease rate is very appealing, 2.9% right now compared to the 6.4% it usually is at.

Go in there and tell them that you will be driving out with a car for the right price. Ask to see the invoice right away to start negotiating from an even point, walk off if they refuse. '05's are being delivered + it's December = they will sell a car in stock even for a small profit. '04's are a buyer's market especially at 2.9% apr.

I just bought mine for $100 over invoice and I have a copy of the invoice & Monroney label.

Thanks you all for your input. I will check out a few dealers on Monday and let you know how it goes. Hopefully I will be in a 6M coupe by the end of the week.
