jibberjabbers is the biggest brand ***** on the board, its just that he is a brand ***** to everything but Infiniti. Comparing TSBs on a car that has been out for 8 years to a model that has been out for maybe 2 and with a miniscule market share is beyond silly.

Having said that, I'm old enough to remember when Datsun/Nissan was no different from any other start-up import brand. With that in mind, I don't care if a car is a Yugo, Kia, or Fiat. If I like it, and it is well made and performs the way I want it to and comes at a good price then brand is meaningless to me. The brand of car I drive says nothing about who I am.

The dealers are already talking about building separate showrooms for Genesis vs. Hyundai. Per Jim Ellis Hyundai in Atlanta.

They aren't creating a new brand like Nissan/Infiniti.

Not sure how long these things take, but if they keep things going as they are, good for them.

Boss bought a 2011 Sonata 2.0T Limited. Damn nice car, lacking some interior refinement but for $26k? Very nice.

I agree with that review, would much rather own a genesis over a g37... But the 35 beats them both.
