The worst dealership EVER

undefinedundefinedundefined Had to go get my Bose replaced yesterday at JBA infiniti of Ellicott city MD.It was supposed to take 1 hour I was there 3.Then I go check my car and the cubby where the nav. is supposed to be was not put back together right.Patrick told me he would get somebody right on it.Thrity min later he said it was done, needless to say it wasnt. They broke a screw that holds the cover on now it has to be ordered and I have to go back which is an hour and a half each way.I go to leave the second time and half of the console was not put back together all the way the.Every time I am unfortunate enough to go to JBA I come home with more problems then when I got there.I checked the passanger side today and the cover by the power outlet is not put on all the way and ther is a small hole poked in it.This is by far the worst dealership I have ever gone to.

You should ask them to make it up to you...I am not too familair with infinti's maintenance service (free up to certain milege?)...but if they do charge for oil changes, rotaions, tranny flush or what not...I'd ask for it. Be stern man and show'em that they are bull ****...also let them know how much you drive each way and tell them that if you knew it was going to be like this....you would never have purchased the car from them.

Wow, that's crazy man. I had the best car purchase experience when I bought my G Coupe there back in July. Everything went without a hitch, and the first oil change service went fine as well.

Not only that, but they're an hour away from me and I was planning to get all my services done there since I've heard nothing but bad things about Jim Coleman, which is the only Infiniti dealer that's closer to me!

Where are you planning to take your car if not to JBA??

I plan on going to Passport. Its about the same distance but I had only been there once and JBA got the radio in two days.I decided to give them another chance but that will be my last time with them. When I went to Passport I got nothing but quality service. They treat you like your there best customer and just seeing how well kept the dealership is makes you want to buy another Infiniti. Also each time I have had work done to my G the mechanics leave greasy hand prints in my car. This is absolutely unacceptable. You should now see why im so feed up with this so called Infiniti dealership.

hey buddy do this: take and print this whole thread, then take it in with you and ask to speak to the manager of the service department as well as the manager on the floor and explain to them that this forum which is top notch and very popular among G enthusiasts is very well aware of the poor service in which they provide to thier customers. this will certainly prove a point and will definately get you something.

Yacoub, I go to Jim Coleman and while my buying experience wasn't very good, their service experience seems to be pretty good. I can give you my service manager's name if you'd like.

Sure that would be great. I am due for my 2nd oil change and have several issues to have addressed as well:

Brakes squeal like crazy already (just under 7k miles)
rattling in rear deck area
gas tank doesn't show full anymore when filled up. never seems to go above one line under full
new rattle on really cold days in front passenger area right up where dash meets windshield.
sunroof grinds sometimes when being tilted.

All the typical little crap I save up until I'm bringing it in for an oil change too.

Yeah, the service manager at Jim Coleman's name is "Fitz". The main number is 301-469-2100. I just went in last week to get an oil change and fixed a rattle in the back. So far their service has been good. (i.e. getting a rental car all warmed up on arrival) but you should book your appointment a couple weeks in advance for a rental car. You can even say Pratik sent you. He'll know who I am. GL. Its worth a shot to see how you like them if they are the closest to you after all.
