Splash Shield

The splash shield below my car has been torn. I am looking to buy a new one. Is there any private vendors out there looking to sell one. I've been searching the market place and I can't find anything. Thanks.

There are vendors in the Marketplace that sell better, aftermarket ones. You can always go to a stealership if need be.

If you have the extra funds I'd say upgrade to the Z Speed under tray (~$200). Quality and fitment is good and has a larger oil access area.

Mine is ****ed up... I just drive without it 'cause I feel like it now has a strong possibility to come off on freeway speeds. I would like to cover it up to be honest, but probably not for $200. Nothing bad has happened so far anyway, and it's been several months.

Mine has been off for years. Zero problems. If I were to get one, it would be the one in the link above.

RareJDM also sells a very quality undertray -- but it's made for stock bumpers, so if you have an aftermarket one, it won't fit as well.

I <3 mine.

Which to me is simply stupid....^....Nissan doesn't put anything on our Infinities that doesn't server a purpose. Look at all the vital parts of your motor that are installed down low and then there's the compartment itself. I don't want dirt/mud and water coating my alternator, compressor and belts....not to mention all those expensive sensors!

They also guide airflow up into the engine as well as provide structural support for the lower edge of the bumper.

I just can't see a large piece of anything like that being useless.

You may not have consequences for not using it, but it IS there for a reason(s).

Most car don't have these. Our cars are nothing special. Yea it could get dirt on some parts but that's ok. Like I said, my car basically never had one. No problems, ever. I'm at 100k now too so its safe to say I'm good to go! Oh and dirt and stuff can still get in your engine components with that plastic there too. It's just really not that serious.

The only problem I have without running one for over a year, is that the wheel well fender liner hangs lower and doesnt look good when the car is coming at you, I could probably adjust it

They are only to keep the bay clean n covered. Watch though because one of my inners came off at higher speeds when the engine tray was off due to vibration.

If you think your Infiniti is nothing special, why are you here? Most of us on DRIVER like our G35s or 7s and do think they are special. We keep them spotless and don't want to lift the hood and see nothing but grime and filth. SLICK is my DD, there's zero dirt under her hood. My under shield is important enough to me if it was destroyed I'd replace it immediately.
