Nissan's east coast imports go through Port Elizabeth in NJ. I've been trying to figure which companies are doing the actual shipping and port operations for Nissan.

All I know for sure is that DAS is their processor (www.dasauto.com) and you'll find lots of links to potential operators and shippers on the DAS website. DAS operates in LA as well, so there's no telling which operator is in NJ. If we could figure that operator, we may be able to pinpoint the ship that our cars are on.

G35 (skyline) is manufactured at the Tochigi Plant. Nissan operates three wharfs in Japan: two in Kanagawa and another in Fukuoka. So the origin of the car carriers is likely one of these two ports. There's also a Nissan Trading Company that runs exports out of Yokohama.

I think NYK is the shipper, not sure.

The new center console is so awesome! I still like the old gauges better though. The new ones remind me of the new Honda Accords with the multilayer look. And the number just isn't as nice. The orange stiching on the steering wheel is sooo hot. I want that on my 350z.
