350/370z Suspension setup for my 05 G35 Coupe

Hey Guys,

I realized that it's time to replace my shocks and I was talking with a friend who recommends just replacing my suspension setup with the 350z or 370z setup. I've searched a few times on this forum but I haven't been able to find a whole lot. He does not recommend coilovers from what I can recall.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Is this commonly done? What parts would I need exactly? I'm trying to estimate cost. I'm a bit of a newbie to this arena so any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

that's exactly what i searched. I was looking for someone like me who doesnt really kno much about suspension and is trying to convert to a 350z suspension. I see people who are looking for advice on drops and camber, etc. but I haven't seen a step by step for this or what parts are needed.

I just cannot understand how you can be a member on this forum for so long and still be asking something like this. There's nothing to really "convert". Take the stock springs and struts from a Z, and it'll bolt right up to you G. Your G will probably sit about 1/2 in lower
