Drop in air filters ??

I took my g to go get an oil change at the dealer today and they told me it Needs a new air filter .i am sure it's a pretty easy process therefore I am thinking of doing it myself . My question is , what's the difference between air filter like stock, KnN , blitz etc ... and what do you guys recommend ?

Changing your oil is an easier process than changing your air filter >___> At least, it was for me. I could not get that stupid filter out without first working out for 9 months to gain some extra muscle... I swear that thing is a bitch. AND THEN PUTTING IN THE K&N? WHAT THE ****.

^ your doing it wrong

Air filter is easy as hell to do.

Imo Paper filters offer best filtration for cost, K&N flows better but lets in more dirt.

Amsoil EA Nanofiber filters for me. They cost less than K&N, catch much more dirt than K&N and flow better than stock. I had a K&N in my car for a little while but got rid of it once I started noticing dust on the clean side of my intake pipe. This doesn't happen anymore with the Amsoil filter.

I've never heard of anyone complain about changing that air filter....you're doing it wrong!

Good Idea, AMSOIL makes great products....I knew there was a reason I switched.

I currently have a K&N but now I'm rethinking about Amsoil since this thread.
