It depends of you already have the factory hids or not. Of you do then you can just switch bulbs but dont get 10k. You'll lose the visibility. Go with 6 or 8 k

Your visibility will be GREATLY reduced. In the rain, you might as well forget about it.

You would only buy the bulb for low beams atleast. I wouldn't recommend 10k your losing a large amount of light for a rice color blue.

Like the others have said, stick to 6k at the most. Anything above that you lose a lot of the light output and visibility. Not to mention ugly looking.
I believe stock is 4.3k, so the 6k are whiter and have a slight blue hue to them. I noticed a little drop in visibility when I put 6K in, but the whiter light was worth it for me.
I saw a vehicle lastnight that had 10-12k bulbs that were purple, looked like crap and provided almost no illumination other than making the rear bumper of the truck in front of him purple and a "neon" glow on the ground.

Agreed. I'm running 6000k bulbs and even that I noticed a decent drop in light output. I could only imagine 10/12k

Please do some more research on this topic before you make a purchase. Like others have posted, a 10,000K (not 10k) would be a drastic reduction in visibility and look like steamed rice to boot.

You should probably head over to a forum like www.hidplanet.com for an informed discussion on the topic of HIDs.

5K will give you the whitest light with no hint of blue and no loss in visibility. I'm running 6K and will be switching soon.
