Ebrake works but the light will not come on!!!!!!!....

So....... I have a 05 G coupe 6mt with ~72,000miles. I drive the car about 3-4days a week to my PT job and when I go out. (just an FYI)

I get in my car last night after work. I start the car up, turn on the radio and sit for a minute or 3 to let the car warm up a little. I put my Ebrake down and put the car in gear ..... and I notice I didnt see the little red BRAKE light go out on the dash like usual. I take the car out of gear and pull the Ebarke back up and no light. Im parked on a hill so I KNOW the Ebrake is working BUT no light.

I'm going to a local NISSAN dealer next week to get my OEM exhaust put back on(Im cool with a few of the techs) so I'll ask them to check it out.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else AND what the fix might be?????

(Yes I searched ........ NO i havent been driving the car hard or doing anything crazy)

There s/b a push switch under your ebrake, it may be stuck or need replacing....check it out! Exhaust replacement is easy, with jackstands shouldn't take more than 2 hours. If you don't have the tools you need to replace it, a muffler shop w/b less expensive than the Nissan dealership....even if you're tight with em.
