OK, yes and no. The Stern brand has been around for a while, a Japanese wheel company with quality products, high prices, and very low sales numbers. But it was acquired by a Taiwanese owned company called Golden Apple quite a while ago, who decided to make a few changes. Since then, it has joined the ranks of ADR and RSL, although it has become the high end ADR wheel. And as of something like 9 or10 years ago, it became a cheap China manufactured wheel that has been well exploited on ebay.

So the Stern that you speak of has died of a long time ago, while the Stern that exists now is completely different. And the design, from what I remember... is fairly new to the company as all of their designs are replicas of wheels from other companies with slight changes here and there. And just keep in mind that Sterns have become extremely heavy.

 

Needs some clear corners and definitely a drop. Other than that.. Looking good.

 

The guy i bought them from car burnt to the ground 3 hrs before they where about to be put on. The car next to him caught on fire. lol and they where still in plastic and everything. And by the way they are
