Hopefully a new G35 driver

Hey! I'm new to this forum and want to interested in a G35.

I have been part of other car forums, but I wasn't really religiously on it.

Looking for the 2006-2007 6MT G35 Coupe. Was curious to know why people prefer the 05's also? What's wrong with the 03's and 04's also?

I just like the style of the 06's and 07's. Looking for an Athens blue with black interior.

Hi and welcome.

I was in the same boat as you not too long ago. I finally pulled the trigger and bought my IP 2007 Coupe.
I find that most people on G35Driver will tell you whatever model year they own is the best.

With that being said; buy an '07 lol Good luck with your search

The 2005 and above has an upgraded interior than the 2003-2004 models. Also the 2005 and above 6MT have nearly 300 ponies whereas the 03-04 have 280. 2007 is the more stable/best year IMO. Try to get that.

06 and 07 easily... I think people only recommend '05 because it's cheaper than 06+ BUT still better than 04 and under. It's pretty simple. Get the best you can, so you won't have to worry as much in the future. Make your life easier.

Def 06-07... The interior upgrades are nice, the headlights are upgraded as well.

Since you're getting a 6MT you'll get the REV-UP motor which as stated gets you closer to 300hp.

Where do you live? I think you've chosen the right year and color. It took me a while to find that combo with everything I wanted. Well worth the wait though!

hey, welcome... i wasnt a big forum guy either untill i got an infiniti. Idk why but this forum is just better and easier to use. but do a a little search and you find threads like this >>> https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...ears-g35s.html
ppl talking about the differences in years.
generally you just want a good working vehicle for a good price. theres some issues with every car out there. Gs are no exception. to sum up:
03/04 had a glass gearbox, interior is nice but not as nice as the ones in 05+ and you cant fit anything in the sunglasses holder lol. later years have oil consumption issues, nice interior, a little bit more power and they fixed the gearbox.
just things to look for and know... our motors are awesome!!!! they go a long time when maintained well, so dont be hesitant to buy one with 80k miles on it just bc of the number. just make sure the carfax is clean, try and look for evidence of rust anywhere like fenders or under/around the lights (the paint might bubble) make sure all lights work, check the oil in the car and just make sure you like it.
