06+ Headlights

Looking at few options for my 04 G, thought id ask what do they average for the set before i send the guy the money.

I found a set in mint condition with ballasts & bulbs for 420 shipped, does that sound fair?

any help is greatly appreciated

That's a great price if they're legit. I paid $515 for mine brand new from a Nissan/Infiniti dealer on Ebay.

That's a good price and exactly what I paid for mine from eBay new in the box less the ballasts. Go for it, projectors are one of the best upgrades you can make for a first gen G35...you're gonna love em!

they are not new, but very good condition and the lens was polished too so they look brand new.

Plug n play...unless you want that amber light on, on 06-07 it just blinks on 03-05 it stays on.

That's a good price since ballast are included. Straight plug n play. Remember to keep up with lenses since they have been polished already, try an keep a sealant with UV on they so they will continue to look nice. Enjoy.

what do you mean? my amber on my G is a parking lamp, so its not on 06+? I was thinking of throwing switchbacks in there since they are clear on the 06+
then whats goes on when you have the lights on? just projectors?

Also, when I installed mine, I noticed you have to transfer the 'igniter' between the two sets as well. It's a small metal piece connected near the rear of HID bulb with a flat, ribbon wire connected to it (if i remember correctly).

did your lights come with ballasts? if so thought the igniter is with it?

what about the small amber, does it act as parking lamps like 04s or no? if not then where are the parking lamps?

Yes only the projectors, only time the amber lights are used is when you use your blinkers other then that they are off. I know there is a work around but you would have to look for the DIY I would help but I am on my cell phone.
