mod question
Hey new to the site..been checkin it out just joined so have a couple questions...i got a 2004 g35 coupe 5 AT since august pearl white had only 32000 original miles so it was unmolested but i would like to get some more power under the hood. I have been searching some sites looking for some easy quick bolt ons for some quick hp. I looked into a motordyne plenum spacer 5/16 to retain stock appearance..also a jwt popcharger and a z tube to start.Im wondering what exhaust will i like best with most gains??? I want something quieter but good quality.Any suggestions?? would a full exhaust be the way to go headers and all with highflow cats?? will these 3 mods spacer intake and exhaust make a noticeable difference?
Welcome to DRIVER!
We all appreciate your attempt, thank you very much!
Sadly, this is his first post and being a NOOB he's never seen or used our SEARCH option. I have very little to do until I sit down to our turkey dinner tomorrow afternoon...here goes:
The 5/16" MotorDyne spacer will do a good job adding a few hp. Pop charger will cost you more hp than the spacer gave you, buy Stillens CAI/Z-Tube combo and that mod is finished without losing anything. Exhaust, best for our G35s is MotorDynes but get your order in soon they're on backorder! Headers, not worth the cost unless you're going to add forced induction! Highflow cats like BERK'S are a good idea, removes most of the restriction in your system...and you're mostly legal. After all the above save your [COLOR="Green"]$[COLOR] and get an Osiris tune...worth 20+ rwhp! "Good Luck!"
