Hello my G enthusiasts..

I bought my 05 6mt last month and i was wondering if you could help me and tell me what this wire is for. The ride is equipped with a sat nav and premium package. I cannot seem to find where that wire should go (no owner's manual), am i missing some part in the vehicle? PLEASE fill me in.. Thank you!

 

that's definitely aftermarket. from the location i'd guess it was for a radar scanner.

 

That definitely looks like a plug in for a hardwired radar detector and a mount

^^ you can read up a bit on here and there are some good pictures too look at there. Dont know what kind of detector the mount is for but im sure you can switch it out or something. The plug in looks similar to my escort though. Wish my G had this when i bought it

That's an Invisicord and it's definitely for an Escort. Here's what it looks like installed on a detector. I freaking love mine.

 

It even looks like u have a radar mount as well.. Possibly a mikes mount or blendmount...
