It more than likely just feels like it handles better since it is larger and smoother so it feels more composed through the turns. But trust me when I say that raw numbers go to the G. It's hard to get over the ~600lb weight difference.

If you have the budget, I'd say get an M3. If your budget is not quite that high, 335i. Love Infiniti but just not feeling their new models. G37 is too big and heavy, and the 370Z doesn't have back seats so it doesn't cut it for me.
You might be rite, but the active steer assist and the active roll bar stabilzer sure make it feel like it corners much better

lol if the 370Z only had back seats lol...

E90 335, TL Type s, e46 m3, IS350, Evo IX, a M, g37, newer A4/A6. Lol those were my options. You can never go wrong with a bimmer, unless something goes wrong IN your bimmer. Haha $$

I'm fairly sure the E64 6 series does not have active roll bars, but I might be wrong. I'm only a walking encyclopedia for M cars...

E9X M3s are crazy expensive, I can't find a decent E46 M3 anywhere and the G37 is not sexy enough... or so I thought until lastnight. Found some sexy A$$ G37s when done right. The only issue with them is that I still need to dump another $4-9K into it on mods and a TT setup to get close to what I can get for $1K in mods out of a 335i. Decisions, decisions!
If you get a BMW, all I have to say is extended warranty, extended warranty, and extended warranty. You can find a proper 3rd party warranty if you look in the right place. I was quoted roughly 4 grand for our M5. Should be less for a 335i.

Granted, if you plan to tune it, you still might be SOL if the warranty company is smart.

My advice would be to CPO a 335i - just take your time to find one with low miles (early lease return), then buy the extended maintenance that will match the CPO warranty. It'll be like 2 grand. Drive the car like you stole it for about 3-4 years (which is how much warranty/maintenance you should have left - it'll be good to 100K miles so time is really your enemy here). At the end of that, you can optionally pick up the 3rd party extended warranty and start doing maintenance out of your own pocket, or if you don't want to you can get into a new car.l

You have to pay to play, but they don't call BMW's "Ultimate Driving Machines" for nothing. My next car is an E92 M3. Hopefully in about 6-8 months. I'll keep my G as my daily. Not sure the people at work will be happy the intern has the nicest car in the lot.

If for some reason I lost Slick without hesitation my next ride w/b a 370Z! I so loved my '92 300ZXTT and the way it handled...

Looking into an extended warranty... $2500 for a 48 month/48,000 mile. we'll see how it goes, taking the 645Ci in this Wednesday.
