im trying make my final decision on a godspeed hks replica exhaust its 450installed .. should i do it or not ??

are you trying to get an x02 or art pipes?

like others said if you have heard it in person or on clips and think you'll like it then go for it. you never really know until you try it. although you can get other x02's for much cheaper now...

 

i have arts just want to know how it sounds with them

 

Go on youtube. The Godspeed one is a clone just like the XO2 and M2 Exhaust. They should all sound the same. I think there are couple of clips on youtube w/ HKS replica and test pipes. Should sound similar.

 

yea do it. I have the same on and love it Try and find it on cragislist or something. I got mine for 200. If u do it sounds really good but even better with the magnaflow x-pipe

 

I ordered a "godspeed" exhaust...but when it came, I pulled it out and it was actually "DNA Motoring". They're all the same though....hks replicas. If I'm not mistaken, they all basically sound the same. Mine didn't fit perfect straight out of the box, one of the tips was way off and touching my bumper and underneath the car there was a point where the pipe was just barely touching the rear sway bar. I had an exhaust shop "fix it"...they had to cut sections and weld in pieces to make it fit better. Looks great now.

 

^They aren't actually "all the same" many of them are very similar but there are differences in tips/quality. M2 seems to be the best out of the box.

 

its a replica, cant expect perfect fitment ... My real HKS fit perfect... took tops 45 mins to install... But I understand they are expensive as hell.. But i bought mine 2 years ago before HKS america closed

 

I had the same problem. It was a nightmare. I had berks hfc though so I can't comment on pairing it with art pipes. Berks has a lot of rasp so mine sounded like crap and I took it all off within a month and couldn't be happier. Everyone will have a different opinion though. A lot of people seem to like those replicas. I do think you are paying a little much though. I got mine brand new for $300 shipped.
