I would recommend just doing that... In my own opinion all the other mod are not worth it since the price/performance ratio is minimum.. again this is my opinion...I just added the MD 5/16 Isothermal Spacer and the ztube/pop charger combo. That's it for me... Until i get it S/C of course.
Good luck!!!
I wouldn't mind doing the Exhaust System if i find a good one that sounds similar to the Stock Signature sound of the G..
There was a thread not too long ago regarding another member spending about 4k on all the bold on mods... and only seeing about 30HP gains on the G....
My opinion was save another 2K perhaps and get it professionally tuned and Supercharged for a nice 100WHP+ Gain!!!

Just get a performance air filter like K&N, a Z-Tube, 5/16 Plenum spacer & either Test Pipes or High Flow Cats. Those mods are the best bang for your buck with our cars. CAI won't really do anything besides add sound. Everything else that I listed helps with the breathing aspect of the engine & gets the most gains. Also good a good performance tune to maximize your bolt ons. Good luck & welcome!
I have Art Test Pipes and they definitely have some rasp. But I love the sound. Its all in preference. You can find audio clips for most bolt ons on youtube so you can hear them before you buy them. But stock cats restrict a lot of air flow so that is always a great way to go. Along with the plenum spacer.
