i'd like to race [drag,highway] a 05 and see how my 04 compares~ anyone in the philadelphia area with an 05 that wants to Go!? ^.~

 

I think such a race would only tell you who is a better driver. There is probably only a 10 HP difference between a stock '05 and your car with the mods, which I don't think is enough to influence the outcome of the race as much as the drivers. Also, most '05's are still in their break-in period and the owners are probably not going to want to go WOT just yet.

correct me if i'm wrong but the only '05 model out now is the automatic. and the automatic has the same engine with 280 HP and 270lb-ft @ 4800. you'd probably beat any automatic.

i think the '05 6MT will be release next year (2005) which has the 298 HP and 260 lb-ft @ 4800 engine.
