Improving air flow through the rear?

Hello,

Ever since I removed my OEM exhaust and installed my Ark Grip V2 exhaust, the car has felt a little less stable, and it crossed my mind that it could be due to the air flow underneath. When the OEM exhaust was on, it had a plate/shield along the bottom that sort of prevented air from getting trapped within the rear bumper, since our bumpers are bubbly/round. Without it, there's quite a bit of extra space in there and I'm thinkin' there must be a lot of air holding me back. Without replacing the rear bumper, what kind of modifcations can I make to improve this? I thought maybe buying an aluminum piece of sheet metal and molding it into shape around my exhaust to direct the air elsewhere might help. Perhaps some slots along the OEM bumpers valence area where they wouldn't be visible (the indents).

Sup?

I don't have pics yet, but theres a heat shield that was above the stock muffler & below the trunk...I unscrewed it, bent it to almost a 90 degree, then screwed only two of the nuts and used dynamite alum tape to tape it to the tip of the rear bumper, just enuf to cover the gaping hole...I then covered the alum tape with black tape so it can camouflage a little...when i installed my rear diffuser i did the same to the diffuser..it helps.

Hmm, I remember there was a cover underneath the stock muffler, but that won't fit with my new resonators and mufflers there. I do still have it, and maybe I can do some bending too. I haven't gone to play around with that yet but I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
